Anyone who has not seen Hedai Offaim sipping coffee in the plowed fields of the Jezreel Valley has not seen true joy.
In this new episode of Man/Land (Adam/Adama), Offaim and Shlomi Shaban visit the heart of Israeli agriculture, the Jezreel Valley. They arrive at Carmelim Farm, where the five Carmel brothers grow rare broccolini and noble asparagus, and where family harmony feels like something out of a novel.
While Hedai turns the farm’s exceptional produce into cauliflower couscous with a rich green broth, Shlomi performs “Nuri,” the most family-rooted song in his entire repertoire, played right there in the open fields.
