Man/Land - Episode 6 - Menachem Lev: The last fisherman in the Sea of Galilee
22m
Every morning, Menachem Lev rows out in his small, sophisticated boat. He is the last fisherman on the Kinneret. He arrived after his army service to heal his soul, and since then has developed an endless love for the warm and wonderful lake.
In this episode, Menachem takes Hedai Offaim and Shlomi Shaban on an adventurous tour of the Kinneret. He teaches them how to fish by listening, and explains why, in his words, no psychologist can match the power of water.
While Hedai prepares dishes from the lake’s own Levanon fish that leave the veteran fisherman speechless, Shlomi performs his song “New York VS. Yehezkel” in the first ever grand piano performance on the Kinneret pier.
