Based on the novel by Sapir Prize winner Noa Yedlin, Stockholm follows four friends who make a reckless decision when Professor Avishai Sar Shalom, a world renowned economist, dies just days before the Nobel Prize announcement. Hoping to preserve his chance at glory, they hide his death for five days. What begins as a simple cover up spirals into chaos involving a mysterious pregnancy, a near discovery by his sister, a body mishap in the street, and a frantic search when the corpse suddenly disappears. As police suspicion grows and the friends stumble through unexpected corners of Israeli society, their desperate attempt to honor a friend turns into a darkly comic reckoning with loyalty, regret, aging, and the fragile bonds of friendship. By the end, nothing remains hidden, and none of them are the same.
