After acting on a tip from an informant, Alon and his team arrest the two men responsible for bombing the police station. But with little evidence and powerful lawyers ready to secure their release, Alon realizes that Maor Ezra is always one step ahead. As surveillance tightens and pressure mounts on their informant, the gangster retaliates violently, sending armed men to the homes of Alon’s closest colleagues, Reuven and Ami. When Miki, now working at the district attorney’s office, learns that the suspects will not be prosecuted due to lack of evidence, she begins her own investigation into Maor’s finances. Meanwhile, Alon’s world begins to close in on him. The suspects walk free, his parents are threatened, and the justice system appears powerless.
