In this opening episode of Man/Land (Adam/Adama), Shlomi Shaban and Hedai Offaim head to the Besor region to meet Eyal and Itamar Gilad, a father and son who have raised sheep on the border for 40 years and continue caring for every animal even in wartime.
Their visit offers a rare look at daily life in the pasture and at Itamar’s escape from the Nova festival straight into an ambush as he returned to defend the farm.
