This documentary film follows the director’s deeply personal journey into an exhibition of self-portraits by a celebrated painter—the man in every image is her father, though few know it. Born out of wedlock, she has been absent from the official narratives, unseen in catalogs or exhibitions. Reconnecting with her father after a decade, she proposes a film about him and their fragile connection, one reflected and refracted through his art.
