Remembering Marrakech

Remembering Marrakech

This documentary film tells the story of the Jewish Mellah (quarter) in Marrakech—one of Morocco’s oldest. Through a collage of short documentaries created by students from Sapir College in Israel and MU6P University in Morocco, the film explores the Mellah’s rich past, its fragile present, and uncertain future. A unique joint production, it commemorates Jewish memory in Morocco while bridging cultures through shared storytelling.
