The director embarks on a journey following the story behind the famous,
legendary "Café Nagler" – owned by her family during the 1920s in Berlin. Her grandmother follows the filming with great anticipation. However, the director discovers that the true story behind the café isn't as glamorous as her grandmother had always believed. Apparently, Café Nagler was just another café, lost in Berlin's history. Unable to break her grandmother's heart, the director decides to recreate the myth of the café. With the help of some fascinating Berliners, she creates a fictional documentary, telling the story of the unforgettable "Café Nagler".
