It's ten days before the murders. An irritable Eitan picks up Kfir early from school, after the latter threw up during his PE lesson instead of taking part in a class run. Sharon Sagi is unemployed, trying to make a living from giving piano lessons, while his ex-wife Nirit continues to flourish both personally and professionally. He realizes there's a new man in his old home and insists on coming over and spending time with the kids, even when he isn't welcome. Orit cries in front of the news about the murder of Sharon's children, when Addisu catches her wearing red, high-heeled shoes. He doesn't believe her when she says the shoes belong to Ruth, and the fight turns nasty. Rafa and Amnon make a short trip to the post office, at the end of which Rafa's real – and surprising – plans are revealed.
