With a background in culinary arts and food innovation, Hoffman leads GCI in Kiryat Shmona, located in Israel’s fertile Galilee region. This 12-month program combines practical culinary skills with broader themes driving the modern food world. Hoffman emphasizes the integration of local produce and diverse cultural influences, aiming to make GCI a hub for culinary excellence and innovation. Originally from Silver Spring, MD, Hoffman made aliyah and now resides in Safed. His efforts are part of JNF’s "Go North" initiative to strengthen and grow the Galilee region
