Dr. Naya Lekht is a scholar and educator specializing in Russian literature, Holocaust studies, and contemporary antisemitism. Born in the former Soviet Union, she immigrated to the United States with her family in 1989. Dr. Lekht earned her PhD in Russian Literature from UCLA, focusing her dissertation on Holocaust literature in the Soviet Union.
Currently, Dr. Lekht serves as the Director of Education at Club Z, a Zionist youth movement, where she developed a curriculum on Jewish peoplehood, Zionism, and advocacy used nationwide. She is also the Education Editor for White Rose Magazine and a Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP). Her contributions to education include presenting at the National Teachers Seminar at the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation and teaching at various academic institutions.
Dr. Lekht is a published author working on a book titled "Zionism in the Diaspora: Reclaiming Israel Education" and continues to teach and write about antisemitism, Zionism, and the history of Russian Jewry
