Emily’s Mountain, a short film by Tal Somech, follows six year old Emily as she celebrates her birthday on what seems to be a magical family getaway. Surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and immersive, cutting edge entertainment powered by advanced artificial intelligence, her parents create a world of wonder designed to protect her. But as the trip unfolds, Emily begins to sense that something is wrong. Beneath the dazzling technology and carefully crafted illusions lies a disturbing reality her parents are desperate to conceal. What begins as a whimsical adventure slowly transforms into a haunting exploration of truth, protection, and the limits of imagination in a world shaped by powerful AI.
