In this musical documentary film, Yehuda Poliker—one of Israel’s musical giants—embarks on a retrospective journey through his own life. He gazes calmly into the camera: sometimes with longing, sometimes with regret, but mostly with love. He watches rare archival footage, including never-before-seen family home videos. At times, he picks up his guitar, accompanying the stuttering, insecure young man looking back at him from the screen, or playing along with his parents singing Greek songs. Sometimes, he simply sits in silence and reminisces.
In conversation with his friend, Eti Aneta Segev, moments from Poliker’s life come together, accompanied by his deeply moving music. These images spark memories that transport us across different turning points in his life.
