Fathers Path
DOCUMENTARY FILMS • 1h 40m
The Genesis of humanity took place on the Father`s path - We believe that Adam and Eve, Abraham and Sara, Izik and Rivka, and Jakob, and Lea, are buried in the Cave of the Machpela in Hebron. "The Way of the Patriarchs" encapsulates the early history of the Jewish people and the connection of the Jews to the Land of Israel.
For the man is the tree of the field. The film will tell of the Jewish people's historical connection to the sites along the Way of the Patriarchs, of the meaning of the sites according to Kabbalah, and thus the nationalist-Jewish importance of holding onto them.
The visual concept is to come from the viewpoint of a journey through the Way of the Patriarchs - the journey made by the Patriarchs and the journey made by the settlers who returned to settle the sites, and of course our journey as we film the sites.
So the divisions of the chapters will be not in laniary order but from now day back in history, to the beginning of the stories of our ancestors and – the entering to the land of Israel" It is a journey of our ancestors and of the settlers and of the spectators…the place "the Land is the hero"
The film reveals the voice of the Palestinian street – people who want to be under Jewish Israeli sovereign.
