An intimate portrait of the military service of Israeli soldiers who serve as security examiners at the checkpoints surrounding Jerusalem. Despite their resistance to the assignment, they are in constant friction with the Palestinian population. For the first time in their lives they are exposed to the ongoing conflict, but the checkpoint routine is stronger than any political map, and dictates a painful reality and fate for both sides.
