This documentary film follows Osher, Michele, and Eitan—at-risk youth removed from their homes and raised in foster care. As they turn 18, their legal foster placement ends, and they face life on their own. A Waste of Space captures their first year of independence, as they confront past traumas and the fear of once again losing the only family and home they’ve known.
